Gentle Reminder

Here we are,
half way through our first challenge at
Digitally Made !

We've received many wonderful entries
so far and hope to see many more before our
current challenge closes June 4th  :)

We would like to remind our entrants that our challenge
Nothing that is hand made, not a tangible item.
This includes items that are hand crafted with printed
digital elements, also known as "hybrid" projects.
We currently have several entries that are hybrids,
 and although they are lovely,
they are not what we are looking for in our challenge.

For example, below is a card created with digital elements
that were combined in a photo editing program then printed
onto card stock. Ribbon and sequins were added to create
a simple, pretty "hybrid" card. Unfortunately this project is not
the type we are looking to be entered in our challenge
even though it was created with digital elements.
We want to see the digital image itself,
not a handmade, physical object.

The screenshot below is one example what we would like to see:
a 100% digital creation. In this case, it was a digital "card"
created to share on social media. It was created the same
way as the above card using digital elements and fonts in an editing program,
but it is just the digital image being shared.
This is a terrific example of what we want to see shared
in our digital challenges.

Here is a tip: if you must take a photograph of your finished project to share, then it likely is not a completely digital project and is not what our challenge is looking for
(nothing that is hand made, a tangible project).
If it is a created on the computer with 100 % digital elements digital file such as a jpg or png, then it is something we would like to see shared in our challenge.
That is, so long as it isn't printed out and assembled into a physical project.
There are many craft challenge blogs for such projects;
we want to see purely digital projects on our challenge blog.
Thank you for understanding.

Digital scrapbook pages, banners for social media/blogs,
inspirational quotes combined with photos,
digital paintings, images digitally combined,
digital cards, backgrounds for computer screens,
Digital art journal pages, the digital file images you've
made for printing such as calendars are just a few ideas.
Yes, you can even add animated elements to
your digital projects !
There are many options for digitally created
art/projects that we welcome in our challenge.
Please keep it family friendly and 100% digital,
NOT a physical, hand made item.

See our first challenge post here
for several 100% digital creations by our
wonderful design team. They are sure to spark
your digital creativity ! You still have plenty of time to
create a digital piece to share with us in our first challenge.
This first challenge is just for fun and does not have a theme.
There will be badges awarded to the top picks.

Lastly, the complete rules can be found
on the side bar and at the top on a separate page.

Have a wonderful, crafty day !

Challenge #1 - Anything Goes

Good morning everyone!

Welcome to Digitally Made.  Heather and I have started this challenge to share our love of digital crafting. We have an amazing team of digital crafters.
We hope to inspire you to come and join in the fun.   Everything entered in our challenges must be 100% digital, nothing handmade.  Our rules can be found in the sidebar to the right or they can be found at the top of the blog. Anyone having problems using Mister Linky, we have a step by step guide for you.

Last week we had a Mini Challenge to get everyone in the mood, the entries we had were all fantastic and you are all winners.
Please take our Mini Challenge Badge to display on your blogs!

Well the time has now come to share our creations with you as we launch our first challenge. Our challenge will be JFF so there will be no sponsor prizes.  However we will have a Winner and we will have Top 3 and badges will be given for both.

Challenge #1 - Anything Goes
(All entries must be 100% digitally created, nothing handmade)

Inspiration from the team

I have created two banners one for my blog and one for my Facebook Timeline.  I have used different digital elements from different kits.

I scanned actual designer papers to create digital versions
for use on my digital scrapbook page.

Thank you for creating such fabulous projects!

Don't forget, details of our rules can be found in the sidebar and also a step by step of how to use Mister Linky should you need it,

We look forward to seeing your 100% digital projects!
